Art on the Ave is an annual Spring art fair showcasing local artisans and musicians in the Slatterly Park Neighborhood of Rochester, Minnesota. I was on the original planning committee way back in 2009, and the need arose for a logo that was simple and memorable with lasting qualities. Over the years the street fair has expanded to be a vibrant must-attend event, drawing vendors and patrons from all over the area. I’ve also done more than my share of late night guerrilla sidewalk chalk murals to get the word out.
